New Balance TSIBA Trail Run

Simonsig MCCNew Balance TSIBA monthly trail runs are always an awesome way to start the weekend.  You might not want to get up, but you will be so glad you did when you finish the run.  With a +/- 6km route (option of doing 2 laps to make it +/-12km), on beautiful wine farms with some of the most spectacular views us regular folk rarely have the chance to see… it really is a lot of fun.

The whole family can join, often dogs are allowed on the estates too, so whether you are looking to do a personal best time or just have a vineyard walk with the girls you should definitely check it out.  There is always some snacks available for purchase after the race and delicious wines to taste, as well as loads of New Balance prizes to win (in the lucky draw, so don’t worry about speed).

I actually won one of the two pairs of New Balance trail shoes in the lucky draw at the last race on Middlevlei Wine Estate!New Balance TSIBA Trail Running Shoes

This weekend’s run is at Simonsig Estate.  We unfortunately won’t be at the trail run as we’re heading to Langebaan for the marathon and half marathon there.  But if you’re looking for some active outdoors activities, head to Simonsig, the race starts at 7:30 and the wine estate is well-known for making delicious bubbly!!

See the details below.

Just a reminder that the next series of the TSIBA
Eden Education Trail runs through wine farms in the Cape Peninsula will be held on Saturday 15 March 2014 at Simonsig Wine Estate.
